Not all of us. You can see, where we come from, when you look under our Avatar (this Picture under our Names) There Stands \"Ort: xxxxxxx\" So Nico and me are from Hamburg. But we are much more. If you use the power filter your engine may broken. Cylinder and/or piston get to hot. Engine get to much air!

I need a picture of the other side of the air box. In one side the is the electric (Battery) on the other side the original airbox with the filter. Between original airbox and Carburetor is an hose. It must be completely and without an hole.

First: New mixture. Mixture hold back-eat is 1:50.
Next: Carefully open and clean the Carburetor with break cleaner.

You need a lots of parts. (Battery, spark plug) I knew a simson-dealer who sell his parts in ebay. You have a ebay account?

The S53M is throttled to top speed 25 km/h. There´s a lot to do to crack the 40km/h-mark.

The rear chain-pinion must be less. You got more than 50 teeth, but in original it must be 34 teeth on the pinion. But this is not all. Your machine and cylinder is engineered, it would be lower expensive if you buy a complete unthrottled (4-gear-)engine, e.g. in the flea market (button \"Flohmarkt\") in this forum (click here to make an announcement at the flea market). If you built in these original simson-engine, you may catch the 60...65-km/h-mark if the machine is exzellent adjusted.

So, if you have questions, or if you need pictures, instruction books, parts etc. ask us. We know where you can get all these things cheap or for free.

The 17 on the caburator is the Number for the Manufactor of your vehicle. In this case Simson. The next number is the diameter of the caburator. An dont use the power filter!!! You need another kind of caburator! You need a 16N... or 19N.... if you want to get more sound and power!!!
